If a display filter has been applied and the configuration profile is changed,
the display filter is no longer applied but it remains visible in the filter
toolbar. It is not obvious that the filter is no longer applied. Unless the
packets that are visible in the Packet List change, the only signs that the
display filter is no longer applied are that the "Displayed:" count on the
status bar now matches the "Packets:" count, and the "Apply" button on the
filter toolbar is no longer grayed out.

The user has applied a display filter for a reason. Not clearing the filter
before changing configuration profiles probably means that the user still wants
the filter applied.

It seems to me that the display filter should remain applied, or be reapplied,
when the configuration profile is changed.
