Hello Chris,
As Jaap stated, part of the patch was implemented (the item count components)
but opted to avoid the LEDs parts (eye-candy).
I really preferred the severity hint that the LED provided too, but not being
core at the time I couldn't force the issue! ;-) But I understand and respect
Jaap's concern's. My hope was to try to make the LEDs as you said "....
controlled by a separate gtkrc setting, independent of gtk-button-images."
But I got sidetracked with other bugs, features and work.
