"the attached jsniffer.dll (32-bit) plugin for Wireshark" is incapable of
allowing me to view the capture files on the machine on which I do my Wireshark
development - it's running Mac OS X. I would have to test it in a VMWare
virtual machine running Windows. Developers using Linux, *BSD, Solaris, etc.
have the same problem.

If the problem is that the packets aren't in a DLT_IEEE802_15_4_LINUX,
DLT_IEEE802_15_4, or DLT_IEEE802_15_4_NONASK_PHY pcap file, but are in an
Ethernet capture file with traffic captured on an 802.15.4 network sent over
the wire by a Jennic Sniffer, please write some program that reads those files
and extracts the 802.15.4 packets from the Jennic Sniffer packets and writes
them to a file in one of the DLT_IEEE802_15_4_ formats, and then attach those
packets to the bug, so that non-Windows-users can also test the patch without
having to fire up VMWare (assuming they even *have* VMWare and a Windows VM and
a development environment for Wireshark), if you're not willing to make the
source to the Jennic Sniffer Protocol plugin available yet.
