When autoscroll stopped, the menu bar button popped out as if it had
been clicked. I did not look at the check box.
However:
I have observed this problem ever since Wireshark 1.4.0rc1 came out. I
downloaded 1.4.0rc1 and installed it the first day that it was available. I
have switched back and forth between 1.2.9 and 1.4.0rc1 multiple times, each
time letting the installer remove the installed version, and then installing
the other version to the standard location, C:\Program Files\Wireshark. Every
time I installed 1.2.9, the problem went away. Every time I installed 1.4.0rc1,
the problem returned.
The last time I switched to 1.4.0rc1, I decided to install it in a different
directory (C:\Program Files\wireshar-dev) so that I would have access to both
1.2.9 and 1.4.0rc1. Since then, I am now unable to duplicate the problem. I
have uninstalled 1.4.0rc1 and reinstalled it in the standard C:\Program
Files\Wireshark directory, over 1.2.9 again, but I'm still unable to recreate
the problem.
