Look closely at the list I uploaded. There are no actual dupes. Even though
there are multiple entries for the same engine id, there are several "Cisco"
devices and EACH of those Cisco devices are set up to perform the following
security combinations:
DES MD-5
DES SHA-1
AES MD-5
AES SHA-1
Thus there should be NO DUPES!
The same user name is used for all but the engine ID is different for each
device. So if you compare the username for two different devices, you'll end
up with dupes. Cisco ALLOWS for such a configuration and it works. The NMS
device also works. What doesn't work is WireShark's interpretation.
Re-Look very closely at the list I provided.
If there were dupes, Cisco wouldn't allow them to be configured as such.
On the other hand, if there did happen to be a complete dupe... then by all
means... over write the previous entry with the latter one because if they're
true dupes... over writting them won't cause a different as they would still
both be the same. Which is NOT the bug I described.
Now whethe this bug is a dupe or not of another but... Hmmmm... what's the
other bug all about? The one I've posted is or at least was a bug! I haven't
checked it in the latest release, but then again, I don't have that setup
anymore to test it on either!
