Wireshark itself has no drivers; however, on Windows, it requires WinPcap in
order to capture packets, and WinPcap does include a driver. The Wireshark
installer on Windows also installs WinPcap; the version of WinPcap it installs
changed in Wireshark 1.2.3, and installing 1.2.4 probably replaced the existing
WinPcap with a new one.

You should probably contact the WinPcap developers:

about this; give them the BSOD information and the

Running on 32-bit Windows Vista Service Pack 2, build 6002, with WinPcap
version 4.1.1 (packet.dll version 4.1.0.1753), based on libpcap version 1.0
branch
1_0_rel0b (20091008), GnuTLS 2.8.1, Gcrypt 1.4.4, without AirPcap.

information.
