There are probably at least two different problems here.

The first problem is Apple bug 6944871, of which 7187410 and 7210378 are
duplicates.  That bug means that if you don't have write permission on the BPF
devices, you can't see outgoing packets (because you have to open the BPF
devices for writing to see the outgoing packets); that bug first appeared in
10.6.0, and is fixed in 10.6.2.  It applies to *all* network devices, not just
to 802.11 devices.

The second problem is Apple bug 7460364, which is probably a driver bug.

In any case, these are Apple bugs, not Wireshark bugs, and the initial bug is
fixed in 10.6.2, so I'm closing this as RESOLVED/INVALID (it should really be
RESOLVED/NOTOURBUG, but we don't have that resolution).
