It is a macbook pro(early 2009) with a broadcom adapter. It remains associated
even if put in monitor mode.
But I suspect that it uses monitor mode to sniff the packets in the air, but
exits monitor mode to send (hence the inability to capture outgoing packets).
I guess I should be thankful it doesn't disassociate completely...
