Thank you for your efforts!

I have applied the "print.c" part of the proposed patch manually to my local
copy of the ws 1.2.1 source release.
[In 1.2.1, there is not exactly a "gtk/menus.c" - just "gtk/menu.c",
and I assumed this part not relevant for the command-line tshark(?).
The epan/proto.c part is inside a comment.].

OBSERVATIONS:
- The leak/packet rate has decreased. FINE!!

- Still there seem to be a few more leaks (fixed on trunk in the meantime?):
After capturing 109 GB (mostly FTP in a test loop),
virtual memory size of tshark is 998 MB.
Still up and running on my 2 GB RAM machine, but not perfect yet.

- Also I noticed that with "-T text" there is similiar memory consumption++.
