The temporary capture file you are referring to contains everything passing
through the interface you have told Wireshark to capture network traffic on. 
This is a diagnostic tool that does not discriminate regarding the type of
traffic it captures because Wireshark is a diagnostic tool.

This is open-source software so you are welcome to review the source code.  I'm
a core developer and have been since 2006 and have never seen code that "calls
home" to give anyone any information about what you've captured.  I would not
work on this project as a volunteer if it did such a thing.
