I'm not sure I'm happy with tracking a pointer across storage in a tvbuff_t. We
did our very best to make buffer access safe, this tosses the safety measures
right overboard. That's what we get the CVE's for you see in the release notes.
Another thing, Wireshark already has several CRC support functions already. Is
yours different from them? Should this one be added to the set?
