--- Comment #3 from Renato Augustinovic <renato@xxxxxxxx> 2009-01-05 10:22:52 PDT ---
Chronology:

1 - snoop is started on receiving endpoint
2 - second link on originating endpoint is put Out-Of-Service
3 - receiving endpoint is able to detect OOS state for second link
4 - second link is changed back In Service on originating endpoint
5 - receiving endpoing is able to detect IS state for second link
6 - snoop is terminated

Obviously Solaris application running on receiving endpoint is receiving
COO&COA (step 3) and CBD&CBA (step 5). Receiving endpoint has only one Ethernet
interface. Common sense is giving us just two options: either snoop is somehow
filtering CBD&CBA or Wireshark is not decoding CBD&CBA. Of course, it is also
possible I do not understand basic functionality, so I'm attaching one more
capture hoping somebody will understand what is happening. I was following ITU
recommendation Q.782 (MTP level 3 test specification), in particular tests 3.1
(Changeover initiated at one side of a linkset) and 4.1 (Changeback within a
linkset).
