Hi Vincent,

You should probably acknowledge that the patch is based upon DCT2000 file
format support, and remove some remaining parts that are not being reused (I
noticed some comments, protocol fields).

Does any equipment currently write out to this format? Signalling protocols
will work OK, but I've found that in order to decode user-plane protocols you
often need extra context information (like UMTS FP, or LTE MAC, RLC and PDCP
that I hope to check in soon) - you don't seem to have a place in your format
to represent these kinds of fields (these correspond to the "out-header"
comma-separate numbers in the DCT2000 format).

If you (or anyone reading this) is interested in decoding LTE MAC, RLC or PDCP,
I'd be happy to work with you to use the right extra context information to let
as many implementations as possible use the Wireshark dissectors.

Martin
