Alex,

I've seen this problem before on Windows and I thought I had fixed the problem
for good also a while back:).  Are you still having this problem?  If so, could
you provide some details on how to reproduce it such as are you using GNOME or
KDE?  Are you choosing a particular theme to get the colors you want or
modifying something else?  I just tried with FC 10 Linux with GNOME and wasn't
able to reproduce the problem using any of the default themes including the
high contrast inverse one.
