I did:
./autogen.sh
./configure
make rpm-package
This is on RHEL4. make on its own worked, but make rpm-package failed to build
the rpm.
The output at the error is below - it is actually a patched build for internal
extras, but we do not patch any relevant files, and it worked on 1.0.2 OK:
