Note this happens on:

SuSE 11.0
installed inside VMware Player 2.0.2 build-59824
running inside Windows XP Pro SP 2

====

1. Start Wireshark

2. Click "List available interfaces..." icon on the Main Toolbar, this brings
up the "Capture Interfaces" dialog.

3. Click on one of the Start buttons or on Close, this causes the dialog to
freeze indefinitely.

This happens each time I start Wireshark so it's highly reproducible.

If I bring up the "Capture Options" dialog instead and start a capture from
there, it works like a charm.
