Well, I am working on it. I removed the code with the linked list structures
since this enhancement is not that very essential at the moment. The plain
decoding of SERCOS III header fields for packets, real time and service channel
data is working without it.

I plan to review the current code, before I provide another patch. I might be
able to do this in the next two days.

Is this an acceptable approach? Please tell me, what approach you do prefer.
