OK, I just retested using the Hardware Address as an example, with 3 different
columns for, "Hardware src addr", "Hw src addr (resolved)", and "Hw src addr
(unresolved)".

Initially name resolution was turned on and "Hardware src addr" resolves the
name as you described; however, when I turned off name resolution, nothing
changed in the display ... until I went back into the columns preferences,
clicked on the "Hardware src addr" choice and hit "OK" again. Sometimes you
have to do this more than once before the column is updated. Anyway, earlier I
hadn't done that (because you shouldn't have to), and so I assumed "Hardware
src addr" was synonymous to "Hw src addr (resolved)" because I obviously had
name resolution turned on.

So, I guess the bug report should read something like this instead:
At least some column choices that are dependent upon name resolution do not
update the contents of the displayed column when name resolution is turned
on/off ... at least not until you re-visit the column selection at least once
and hit "OK".
