If you try and type in a menu item to jump to the window pops up but only one
character is allowed to be typed in.
Follow these steps to repro this:
1. Open any menu that lets you type to jump to a specific option. I'll use
Edit->Preferences for this example.
2. Once the menu opens expand "Protocols"
3. Try and type "TCP" to jump to the TCP protocol.
4. You will only see a T appear in the window that pops up and nothing else can
be entered.
