NOTE: this build doesn't support the "matches" operator for Wireshark filter
syntax.

Running on Linux 2.6.9-67.0.4.ELsmp, with libpcap version 0.8.3.

Built using gcc 3.4.6 20060404 (Red Hat 3.4.6-9).

Everytime I or anyone in my workgroup create a Filter String on an IP address
it stops when I get to the second octet for about 10 seconds and will take
input during that time but not display it.  This has been reproduced on several
of our servers all running the same OS and versions of Wireshark and by several
users.
