Summary: wireshark comlains about misssing interfaces at the
                    command line
           Product: Wireshark
           Version: SVN
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Trivial
          Priority: Low
         Component: Wireshark
        AssignedTo: wireshark-bugs@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
        ReportedBy: toralf.foerster@xxxxxx

Build Information:
Paste the COMPLETE build information from "Help->About Wireshark", "wireshark
-v", or "tshark -v".

Calling wireshark as a normal user under linux and opening Edit->Preferences
yields into this outpout at the console:

tfoerste@n22 ~/devel/wireshark/trunk $ ./wireshark -r ~/bad_checksum.pcap
There are no interfaces on which a capture can be doneNo capture interfaces
available (maybe lack of privileges?).tfoerste@n

Beside the missing newline after each message they might be overlooked (b/c
only logged into ./.xsession-errors or similar file) if wireshark is started
from a menu instead from the command line.

I would expect rather a popup window than a command line message, isn't it ?
