It's probably because the screen size *did* change. I was using an external
monitor on my MacBook at work which is a different size from my built-in
Macbook screen. 

I had a packet capture on-screen, but I ran out of time, so I put the MacBook
to sleep, took it home. When I got back to it, I only had the built-in screen
which has a different size, and Blammo! it crashed.

Does this make sense? Thanks.
