Is there any chance you can attach a capture showing these errors (I assume you
mean expert warnings)?

It looks like you're using the static definitions of AVPs. Have you tried
choosing to use the Diameter XML dictionary from the Diameter protocol
preferences? The XML dictionary versions are probably better maintained, but
you do need to install the XML library so that the parsing works.

I have test files that show Vendor-ID working fine (whether using the static
settings or the XML files). They display slightly differently, but I wouldn't
see this as a problem.

For Session-Id, the XML version shows it as a UTF8String. The static version
does use the label "Session ID" while displaying the value part of the AVP.
The underlying type of the field is a string, so again, I think its helpful
rather than wrong.

For my test files, none of these fields generate expert errors/warnings. If
you can attach a capture file that does, I can look to see why wireshark thinks
there is a problem.
