There don't is any version.conf, as the build process already mentioned: 
"Version configuration file version.conf not found"

"What SVN client version are you using?"
SVN 1.4.0, but it's not found on the path, as the build process already
mentioned.

But that all doesn't really matter IMHO. Even if there wouldn't be any svn
client installed, the version detection should *not* return "0.99.6" in any
case ... except for the one and only release build from Gerald.
