same here.
if you go to to "capture:interfaces" dialog everything seems to work fine.
you can even directly start a trace.
if you click on "options" a dialog box pops up BEHIND the active window.
nothing can be selected in the active window until you click "OK" in that box.
after that, everything works.
the box showed no text in the stable version of 99.5, but shows some strange
characters in the dev-builts (99.6).

workaround:
either moove the active window to see the box and click ok, or start your
capture via "capture:options".

i hope this bug gets resolved soon, because it is really annoying.
