As Jim Young noted in his message at

the fix for 1220 doesn't directly fix this bug.  This bug is a different issue
(the capture is being read by Wireshark from a *file*; the only thing
Wireshark's reading from a *pipe* are indications that N more packets have
arrived in the file, and those indications are not being buffered
indefinitely).
