The 2 windows are not updated, if due to applying a filter the prior selected
packet is no longer displayed.
Reproduce it using the example stream attached with the next comment and do the
following:
1. start wireshark with that file
2. select the 2nd packet
3. define as fitler string "!tcp" and click "Apply"

Now the 1st packet is highlighted but the content isn't displayed in the other
2 windows.
